Friends of the Poor 5K Walk

Please join us in the Society’s 16th Annual Friends of the Poor 5K Walk, taking place Saturday, September 21st. This annual event is our largest fundraiser, and now more than ever, we’re relying on funds raised to provide our volunteers with the resources to help Long Islanders in need. This year our Conference will participate in two locations: the Island-wide event held in Hecksher State Park, and in a local Walk held right here in our community of Floral Park, starting from Memorial Park across from OLV church (intersection of Tulip and Plainfield Avenues). You can register to walk or just make an online donation.
The Walk kicks off at 10:00 AM.
